[edit]While Thicknesse is a presence in Deathly Hallows, he doesn't really play that big of a role, not to the storyline, at least. I don't think there is really much information that could be scrounged up to put here, and perhaps it might be better just to merge with Minor Ministry officials in Harry Potter. Anyone agree? - Whilst I agree there probably isn't a lot of information to put in this article, I don't really think Thicknesse could be described as a 'Minor Ministry official', as he appears to play an important role in showing how Voldemort/Death Eaters gain so much power --Mas 18 dl 21:17, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think this should be kept. Thicknesse becomes minister for magic; he is Voldemort's puppet. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 09:02, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- His role in the story doesn't mean he is notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Reread the notability guidelines - has Pius been the subject of multiple non-trivial works, outside of the book? No, he has not. Ergo, he is not notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Natalie 21:31, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Historical allegory?
[edit]Pope Pius, "Hitler's Pope". Enough said. :P
That should be added, once verified. --Simfan34 20:33, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
